How Long Will It Take Me To Get Better?

Your condition and severity will affect how long it takes you to get out of pain.

Most patients will experience some relief after their initial assessment and treatment session.

On rare occasions, you may experience some initial discomfort, however, this is all part of the process of getting better.

Where our Chiropractic, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics and Massage Therapy are treatment plans, most simple causes of pain can be treated and resolved within 2-4 weeks of your initial appointment. You can expect to require at least two appointments in your first week or two of treatment to help get on top of your pain as fast as possible.

This is typically followed by one to two sessions per week in the following weeks.

Those with more complex conditions usually require 2-3 months of treatment.

Many people then chose to continue with a “maintenance” program where you attend every 4-6 weeks for a check-up, review of your program and a general “loosen up” or “overhaul” as required. You could then extend to 3 and 6-month reviews as required.
